Point your camera at a shelf or a barcode. Snug reads the titles and covers for you and fills in the details.
Lend and borrow with friends
Log a loan in a couple of taps. If your friend uses Snug, they see it too, and it closes on both sides when the book comes back.
Gentle reminders
Get a nudge when a book is overdue or due back soon. You pick which reminders you want, and you can send a friendly nudge to a borrower.
How it works
Three steps, and one of them is optional.
- Add your books Scan a shelf, scan a barcode, or type one in.
- Lend or borrow Pick a friend or a name, set a due date, and add a photo of the book's condition if you like.
- Get it back Snug reminds you, and you mark it returned with one tap.
Your library stays yours
No ads and no tracking. Your library lives under your account and other accounts cannot read it. You can delete everything from Settings whenever you like. Read the privacy policy for the details.

Is Snug free?
Yes. Snug is free while it is in beta, and there are no ads.
Which phones does it work on?
iPhone and Android. Both apps are on their way to the stores.
Do my friends need Snug too?
No. You can log a loan with just a name. If your friend has Snug as well, the loan shows up for both of you and they can confirm it.
